उत्तराखण्ड प्रादेशिक को-आपरेटिव यूनियन लि0, देहरादून का गठन दिनांक 16.02.2018 को निबन्धन संख्या- यू0-11 के द्वारा किया गया है।
उत्तराखण्ड प्रादेशिक को-आपरेटिव यूनियन लि0, देहरादून को सशक्त, आत्मनिर्भर एवं स्वावलम्बी बनाये जाने के लिए निम्न उद्देश्य है।
सामान्य प्रयासों की सफलता हेतु राज्य भर की सहकारी संस्थाओं को एक दूसरे के निकट सम्पर्क में लाना ओर उनके मध्य सामुदायिक लाभ की भावना उत्पन्न करना।
यूनियन की गतिविधियों का (अ) भारत या भारेत्तर ऐसे सहकारी संगठनों के साथ तथा (ब) किसी राज्य या केन्द्रीय सरकार के ऐसे विभागों के साथ सम्पदीकरण स्थापित करना जिनके उद्देश्य पूर्णतः या आंशिक रूप से यूनियन के उद्देश्य के समान हो।
सामान्य प्रयासों की सफलता हेतु राज्य भर की सहकारी संस्थाओं को एक दूसरे के निकट सम्पर्क में लाना ओर उनके मध्य सामुदायिक लाभ की भावना उत्पन्न करना।
सहकारी सिद्धसन्तों एवं प्रयोगों का प्रसार करने तथा उन्हें लोकप्रिय बनाने हेतु आवश्यक कदम उठाना और इसके लिए मुद्रणालय (छापेखाने) तथा एक पुस्तकालय का निर्माण करना, सहकारिता तथा ग्राम्य विकास तथा उनसे सम्बन्धित विषयो पर समाचार पत्रों एवं अन्य साहित्य का प्रकाशन करने और सहकारिता एवं उसके सहयोगी विषयो से सम्बन्धित दृष्य श्राव्य साधनों के उत्पादन की व्यवस्था करना ओर सहकारी प्रचार वाहनों के रख-रखाव की व्यवस्थ करना और स्वंय उनको रखना और खर्च सहकारी समितियों के वेैतनिक एवं अवैतनिक कार्य-कर्ताओं तथा निबन्धक की अनुमति से अन्य सम्बन्धित गैर सहकारी संस्थाओं के कर्मचारियों यदि संभव हो को प्रशिक्षण सुविधा प्रदान करना इस प्रयोजन हेतु सहकारी परीक्षण केन्द्रों का धारण संचालन, प्रशासन एवं नियंत्रण करना, पाठ्यक्रम तैयार करना, परीक्षा लेना एवं प्रमाण पत्र देना।
Under the ‘Nirvana Amrit Gangajal’ scheme, the Uttarakhand government, through the Uttarakhand Provincial Cooperative Union (PCU), has launched a structured plan to collect, package, certify, and market pure, certified Gangajal (Ganges water) from the Bhagirathi river (considered one of the purest origins of the Ganga) in Gangotri. The project aims to supply this certified holy water both within India and internationally, specifically targeting the spiritual needs of an estimated 12 million Hindus living abroad.
A few key highlights of the scheme:
✅ Certification: Unlike informal or unverified sources of Gangajal sold by private parties, this initiative provides officially certified Gangajal, ensuring authenticity and purity.
✅ Packaging: The holy water is hygienically collected, filtered, UV-treated, and packaged in sealed bottles of various sizes for convenience and longevity.
✅ Distribution: Marketing networks will include cooperative stores, religious institutions, and online platforms to reach devotees in India and globally.
✅ First-of-its-kind: Uttarakhand is the first Indian state to officially organize the collection and sale of Gangajal with government-backed certification, making it a pioneering step in the formalization of religious products.
This initiative not only provides genuine holy water to devotees but also helps generate revenue for the state and local communities, potentially creating employment opportunities in remote Himalayan regions.
